Shawn Bruno joined Pratt & Whitney Canada in 2000 as an engineer. He assumed positions of increasing responsibility within the Quality and Supply Management organizations, before assuming the role of Sr. Supplier Development Lead in the Midwest Regional Office, managing Tier-1 suppliers in Quebec and throughout North America.
Prior to his current position, Shawn was Aftermarket Customer & Campaign Logistics Manager, JPATS Technical Support and Warranty Management, where he served NATO customers operating military-training fleets.
As Project Manager, he oversaw the establishment of UTC’s first SXL Airfoil manufacturing facility, located in Rzeszow Poland. He has consistently championed P&WC’s reputation for excellence and exceptional levels of customer & supplier support.
Since September 2022, in addition to his regular duties, Shawn has turned his expertise towards co-leading the RTXBXNPW Canada ERG, the first employee led initiative in P&WC focusing on the Attraction, Retention & Advancement of Black Professionals.
Shawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University and CQE certification with the ASQ.
